Topic for Digital Story 2

Friday, April 16, 2010
The topic I decided to choose is Destruction to a culture. I choose this topic because its really important to show how in different places at different times history tends to repeat its self. The Holocaust and the genocide in Darfur is a perfect example of this. When I finish my story, I think it will be a good example of being culturally aware.

Reflection on Graduating Portfolio

Tuesday, April 13, 2010
After reading through the Graduating Portfolio, I can tell right off the bat that I have alot of work ahead to do. This year I have to organize a 10 minute presentation about how I have grown as a learner. I'm already thinking about creating a digital story for this presentation. Whats interesting about the presentation is that have to show myself speaking at least 30 sentences in spanish, that I'm anxious about. For the Graduating Portfolio I did in freshmen year there was a little presentation where you had to explain to the advisory teacher your reflection on your product but it wasn't as long as 10 minutes. Hopefully the 10 minutes pass by quickly.

STYLE

Voice - Pacing

The pace (rhythm and voice punctuation) fits the story line and helps the audience really "get into" the story.

STYLE

Layout
